ML Automatic Warehouses

The automatic warehouses for metal sheets ML, with single or double tower, are the ideal system for the vertical storage of metal sheets of any material in the standard or special formats of 1500x3000 mm, 2000x4000 mm, 2000x6000 mm with special formats up to a length of 12 mt. The ML Warehouses are a practical and economic solution, commonly used both in the production and in the trade of sheet metal. Often they are installed next to a machine tool for working metal sheets: laser cutting, oxyfuel, shears, bending machines, etc.

The structure of the Automatic Warehouses for Sheet Metal ML is in steel suitably sized and can reach a height of more than 12 meters. The drawers are arranged on a single or double 'tower' with relative shuttle which picks up the selected drawer until it is transported to the loading / unloading bay. The ML Warehouse can have one or more loading / unloading bays, with opposite front or rear exit. In any case, the sheet coming out of the warehouse is transported by the shuttle on a special support on the ground which allows convenient access of the forklift or the overhead crane or jib crane for enslavement of the machine tool on the warehouse.

The drawers are sized according to the sheet format used by the end customer. The types of drawer most commonly used are the following: 

• Load cells with display: they allow the visualization of the weighing of the drawer and / or of the single material contained inside it in / out of the ML Warehouse. 
• Advance table that allows the movement of the material in bay on special guides applied to the flooring material 
• Loading and unloading support by means of a forklift or overhead crane

With the IT systems developed by CIAMPALINI, the warehouse is managed in a fully functional way with dedicated software, perfectly integrated with the warehouse and tailor-made for its management.
